< Back to SPEED overview

SPEED is developing a biodiversity case study to explore how UK native species might change under plausible scenarios of environmental and socioeconomic change. This work aims to demonstrate the integration of multiple projections into downstream analyses. The biodiversity case study uses high-resolution projections of climate and land use, produced as part of SPEED, to provide insights into how UK biodiversity may change over the coming decades.

This case study is intended as a showcase for outputs produced elsewhere in SPEED. By demonstrating their use and integration in the biodiversity context, we aim to promote the uptake of SPEED projections by a wide range of end users including in higher education, policymaking and the NGO sector.
